Walking is an easy, low-impact way to exercise

… yet not nearly enough people do enough of it!  Walking is so easy that it is literally something people tend to do without even thinking about it.

But what about when you actually take the time to feel the steps you take?  Have you ever tried this?  Mindful walking is a form of meditation, and can be hugely beneficial for your health.

Check out these benefits of walking, invest in some solid walking shoes, and hit the trails!  The weather will be getting warmer before you know it.  I’m pretty sure that most cities have a town hall or YMCA that offers maps of trails and bike paths around the area… grab one now, and start memorizing!  Nature has so much to offer if you just get out and look.

 

Walking is a great low-impact way to exercise. It is recommended that we each take 10,000 steps each and every day for better health – how close are you to that goal?
