Taking trying to live vegan to the next level

So let’s say that you’ve done it… you have made the switch to vegetarian or vegan, and are feeling pretty good about it. But then sometimes you realize… some of your favourite foods are not exactly vegan-friendly!

If you are having trouble breaking your addiction to things like cheese, just remember – THERE ARE ALWAYS OTHER OPTIONS OUT THERE!! You can simulate the flavours of about 99% of the foods that you are trying to give up but can’t because you just love them too much.

Trust me, we know. At Heroic Health headquarters, we haven’t ENTIRELY given up on cheese and such, but we are happily discovering new options, many of which taste just as good or better!! This recipe below is just one snazzy idea for living more vegan, and it is FANTASTIC!

You can simulate many flavours of things that are not quite vegan if you really want to take it all the way

Try it out for yourself and see what you think! If you have any of your own nifty recipes and you would like them to be included in the Heroic Health Healthy Recipe Book, feel free to email them to us at info@heroic-health.com

The Heroic Health team are constantly looking for ways to live more healthfully, sustainably and fully. Trying out things like vegan recipes or even making simple changes like trading your hamburger buns for portobello mushrooms can add so much “flavour” to your life… you wouldn’t even believe it unless you try it for yourself.
