Location  

We are proud to offer in-home personal training in Oakville, Mississauga, Burlington, Brampton, Waterdown and Milton. For an additional travel fee, we also serve clients in Brampton, Georgetown, Acton, Flamborough, west Hamilton, Ancaster and Dundas.

We offer flexible training options to fit your busy life.  We can work at your home, your workplace, your condo or apartment (if there is a gym or you have equipment) or one of our affiliated gym locations (in west Mississauga). In the warmer months, we can even meet at a park.

Our Process – The Consultation

Your health and safety come first. Before beginning personal training sessions, we will give you a PAR-Q (physical activity readiness questionnaire) to determine whether you should consult with your doctor before starting an exercise program.

Next, we will discuss your short and long term fitness goals. We will create specific timelines, built around your current health fitness objectives.

A fitness evaluation will follow, including body measurements and blood pressure tracking, to help identify key goals in your personal training sessions. With this data in hand, you will be able to clearly track your progress toward your fitness goals.

Program Design

Some of the components of your fitness program will include:

Plyometrics: Great for increasing your heart rate and overall toning, plyometrics uses dynamic body movements instead of weights, so that you are working against your own body weight.

Core stability: By strengthening your stomach and lower back muscles, you can help to eliminate aches and pains in this area.

Flexibility: Maintaining flexibility in your joints and muscles will help to prevent injury, especially for people who play sports or are generally active.

Functional movements: These exercises are designed to improve your balance and co-ordination.

Strength: We use multi-functional exercises that work multiple muscle groups at a time, focussing on the stabilizing muscles.

Cardiovascular endurance: One of the most important aspects of your fitness and overall health (lungs and heart), cardiovascular endurance is also a key tool in losing weight.

After the Consultation

With a clear idea of your fitness targets and a road map to reach them, we set up weekly personal training sessions, whether in-home or at an alternate location, to help you stay on track and motivated. You can choose to work out one, two or three times each week with us.
