Got cravings? This may help

For those embarking on a weight loss or health-based journey for the first time, there can be a few roadblocks. Things like reading nutritional information, only shopping for groceries around the border of the supermarket and dealing with cravings for salty or sweet things that will throw you off track. These are tough to deal with, and sometimes we may slip up a little (which is ok! Once in a while). Just like dealing with Life being difficult at times, dealing with your diet and personal nutrition is maybe almost just as hard.

But thankfully, there are a few strategies out there that, if applied correctly and frequently, can help you get back on track.

Take food cravings for example. If you are restricting or altering what you would normally eat, then yes your body is going to respond by getting healthier, but it may also tell you (yell at you, actually) WHERE ARE MY SALTY OR SWEET THINGS THAT REV UP MY ENGINE?? WHERE ARE THOSE UNHEALTHY THINGS THAT I LOVE AND CRAVE SO VERY MUCH??

Let us tell you a little secret. The secret to curbing those cravings, no matter how strong, is actually as simple as semi-sweet chocolate chips and a fresh banana. These two ingredients will curb those cravings without adversely affecting your body or your mind. (We got the recipe from the Everyday Health website)
